What is LAUNCH?
LAUNCH is a platform for faith-based professionals navigating a transition, a new assignment, or the first steps of a business. It uses a biblical framework drawn from 2 Kings 4 to recognize what is already in your hands and take a practical next step. It includes a free five-minute Audit, book, self-paced course, Cohort, membership, VIP Days, Mastermind, private counsel, and speaking. It is built and taught by James P. Havis and operated by Kingdom Media Works LLC.
What is the free Audit?
The What's In Your Hand? Audit is a free five-minute inventory of the skills, tools, relationships, and capacity you already have. It is the recommended starting point and asks for your name and email so results and next steps can be sent.
What is the LAUNCH book about?
LAUNCH: What's In Your Hands? is a biblical business playbook by James P. Havis, published by The King's Ledger. Built on 2 Kings 4, it covers naming your season, taking inventory, preparing and pouring, and building with stewardship. The paperback is 256 pages with 20 exercises and costs $17.97 through Lulu. Review shipping and the final total at Lulu checkout. Paperback and Kindle editions are listed, but no Kindle purchase link is published.
What is in the self-paced course?
The LAUNCH Self-Paced Course is $297 one time with lifetime access. It includes 20 video lessons of 12 to 18 minutes each, a downloadable PDF workbook with 20 exercises, 5 bonus lessons, a Kindle-friendly ebook, and a private student community. It is fully on demand: lessons can drip three per week over 7 weeks or unlock all on day one. Access details follow by email after purchase.
What is the eight-week Cohort?
The Cohort is a live eight-week small group of up to 15 founders, priced at $1,997 and entered by application; applying costs nothing. It includes weekly 90-minute Zoom sessions, office hours, the course and workbook, accountability, a week-five guest teacher, a capstone, and 12 months of community. Cohorts run in January, April, July, and October. The site describes a goal of a first paying customer, not a guaranteed outcome.
What is a VIP Day?
A VIP Day is a six-hour intensive with James, in person or remote, for $7,500. It focuses on one asset: a funnel, an offer, a pricing model, a launch plan, or a hiring plan. It starts with a 90-minute diagnostic and a 20-page pre-read, and it includes 30 days of asynchronous support and a 60-minute follow-up. James books 8 to 12 VIP Days a year. Request one through the contact page.
What is the LAUNCH Mastermind?
The LAUNCH Mastermind is a six-month, application-only group for faith-based founders doing $50,000 to $500,000 a year, priced at $15,000. It includes two two-night Texas Hill Country retreats, 12 biweekly 90-minute group calls, six 45-minute one-on-one sessions, weekday WhatsApp access, a growth plan, four outside experts, and lifetime access to future digital products. Travel and lodging are paid by the participant. The site gives conflicting capacity statements (eight seats and eight to ten founders), so capacity is not asserted.
What is the Founder's Table?
The Founder's Table is six months of private counsel with James for founders past $500,000 a year, priced at $25,000 and offered by invitation only. It includes 12 biweekly 60-minute private sessions, Monday to Friday WhatsApp and email access, a custom playbook, one in-person working day, and an operating manual. James takes 4 to 6 of these clients a year. Request a discovery call through the contact page.
Does James Havis speak at events?
Yes. James speaks to churches, conferences, and corporate faith-and-work audiences. Formats include a 20-minute TED-style talk, 45–60-minute keynote, three-hour or six-hour workshop, and two- to three-day teaching. Bulk book pricing is available. Fees are not published; the inquiry form offers budget ranges from under $3,000 to $15,000 and above. The team says it replies within two business days.

The eight-week Cohort is $1,997 by application. The membership is $47 a month. A VIP Day is $7,500. The Mastermind is $15,000 for six months by application. Who is James P. Havis?
James P. Havis is a builder first and a coach second. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and former corporate pilot, the founder of Kingdom Media Works LLC and the publishing imprint The King's Ledger, and the author of LAUNCH: What's In Your Hands?. He has started, closed, and rebuilt businesses across aviation operations, software, and digital publishing. He coaches from the Texas Hill Country and speaks to churches, conferences, and corporate faith-and-work audiences.
How do I apply for the Cohort and what happens next?
Submit the application form at launch.jameshavis.com/cohort/apply. There is no payment to apply; the form qualifies you first, and the $1,997 fee is handled after acceptance. Cohorts start in January, April, July, and October.
How do I apply for the Mastermind or request a VIP Day or private counsel?
The Mastermind has its own application at launch.jameshavis.com/mastermind/apply; it is an invitation request, not a purchase. VIP Days and the Founder's Table are requested through the contact page, where you ask for a VIP Day or a discovery call. Both are limited: James books 8 to 12 VIP Days and takes 4 to 6 Founder's Table clients a year.
How do I book James for an event?
Fill out the speaking inquiry form at launch.jameshavis.com/speaking/inquiry with your event details, preferred format, and budget range. The team replies within two business days. Bulk book pricing for attendees is available on request.
What is the LAUNCH Guide and what can it do?
The LAUNCH Guide is a guided conversation on the site that helps you choose the right resource and arrange a human follow-up. It is orientation, not coaching. It gives no financial, legal, tax, medical, mental-health, or crisis advice, it cannot promise outcomes or approve enrollment, and it asks you not to share account numbers, passwords, or financial, legal, or health information.
What do you do with my information?
The privacy policy, last updated August 21, 2026, says the site collects identity, contact, and marketing data plus anonymous conversion data. Form submissions go to the GoHighLevel CRM, purchases are processed by Stripe, and card details are not stored on the site. First-party measurement honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track and can be turned off; the visitor identifier rotates at about 13 months and older server records are removed at about 13 months. Privacy questions go to contact@jameshavis.com.
What are the terms of using the site?
The terms of service, dated October 2023, grant a limited license to view the site and restrict publishing, selling, or commercializing its materials. The site is supplied as is. Texas law governs, with non-exclusive jurisdiction in Texas state and federal courts.
How much is shipping for the book?
Review shipping options and the final total at Lulu checkout. The public site does not promise a fixed shipping charge or delivery time.
Where is LAUNCH based, and do I have to be in Texas?
James coaches from the Texas Hill Country, and the Mastermind retreats are held there. Everything else is remote: the course is on demand, Cohort sessions are on Zoom, membership calls are live online, and a VIP Day can be in person or remote. The Founder's Table includes one in-person working day. No street address is published.
Who is LAUNCH for?
LAUNCH is for faith-based professionals and founders in a transition, a new assignment, or the first steps of a business: people who want to start with what they already have rather than wait for capital, credentials, or runway. The free Audit, book, course, and Cohort are for that early stage. The Mastermind is for founders already doing $50,000 to $500,000 a year, and the Founder's Table is for founders past $500,000.
What is the LAUNCH framework?
It is a four-part framework drawn from 2 Kings 4, the account of the widow's oil. Name the season: be honest about where you are. Take inventory: identify the skills, tools, relationships, and capacity already in your hands. Prepare and pour: take a practical next step with what you have. Build with stewardship: grow what results with margin and care rather than hype.
Do I need money, credentials, or a business plan before I start?
No. The whole premise of LAUNCH is that you begin with what is already in your hands. The site rejects waiting for capital, credentials, or runway and asks you instead to name your season, take inventory, and take one practical next step. The free Audit is built to surface that inventory in about five minutes.
What is the difference between the course and the Cohort?
The course is $297, self-paced, and on demand: 20 video lessons, the workbook, bonus lessons, an ebook, and a student community with lifetime access. The Cohort is $1,997, live, and by application: eight weeks with up to 15 founders, a weekly 90-minute Zoom session, office hours, accountability, a guest teacher, a capstone, and 12 months of community, and it includes the course and workbook. Choose the course to work alone on your schedule; choose the Cohort for live structure aimed at a first sale.
I am not sure which option fits me. Where do I start?
Start with the free five-minute Audit at launch.jameshavis.com/audit. If you want help choosing after that, the LAUNCH Guide walks you through the options and can arrange a human follow-up, or you can send a message through the contact page. The book is the lowest-cost next step at $17.97.
Can I take the course on my own schedule?
Yes. The course is 100 percent asynchronous and on demand with lifetime access. You can let lessons drip three per week over seven weeks or unlock everything on day one.
Am I ready for the Mastermind?
The Mastermind is for faith-based founders already running a business at $50,000 to $500,000 a year, and it is application only. If you have not yet made a first sale, the site's path is the Audit, the book, the course, or the Cohort, which is built around getting that first paying customer. The Founder's Table, for founders past $500,000, is by invitation.
Is LAUNCH a book or a coaching program?
Both, in order. LAUNCH began as the book LAUNCH: What's In Your Hands? by James P. Havis, and the platform grows out of it: the free Audit is the book's core exercise, the course teaches the book's 20 exercises on video, and the Cohort, membership, VIP Days, Mastermind, and Founder's Table add live teaching and coaching for those who want more.
Where can I get a press kit or media bio for James?
The Press and Media Kit page at launch.jameshavis.com/press has approved short and long bios, interview angles, book details including the ISBN, and a downloadable speaker one-sheet PDF. Media requests go to jhavis@jameshavis.com. High-resolution headshots are not yet in the kit.
Is this hype or a get-rich program?
No. The site describes James as a builder on the platform, not a hype man, and it frames business in terms of stewardship, margin, and obedience rather than venture-capital language or the coffee-mug version of faith at work. No income claims are made, and the LAUNCH Guide states plainly that it cannot promise outcomes.
How do I contact LAUNCH?
Use the contact form at launch.jameshavis.com/contact for general questions, VIP Day requests, and Founder's Table discovery calls. Privacy questions go to contact@jameshavis.com and media requests to jhavis@jameshavis.com. Speaking inquiries have their own form and are answered within two business days. No phone number is published.
